Backup camera in trailer tie into GM tailgate?

I have a '12 GMC Sierra 2500hd SLT with factory backup camera in the tailgate. I'd love to be able to disconnect the tailgate camera connection and plug my TT into it instead, like I do on the afterma...

Cable is too short.

The camera comes standard with 10’ of cable. I have to roll up the excess and tie wrap it up in the frame.

I'm taking Travel Trailer, not truck camper. I need about 35 feet assuming I mount the camera half way up the back.
Edit: Wow, $250? That's pretty steep.
