I have been using mine for 5 years now and have had no issues with tires. The trailer is much more stable (no fore and aft movement) with the Bal 28005 chocks, than with the conventional wheel chocks used at ground level.
Actually I use both when camped for a extended period of time.
For a over night camp stay where we do not unhitch I use only the standard ground chocks.
The Bal 28005 chocks should NOT be installed, until after you unhitch your trailer and have it leveled. Standard ground level wheel chocks should be used during the unhitching process.
