Battery ? What is everyone using

2-6 Volt golf cart batteries.

I was out dry camping this weekend. I took my camper to the place where I was camping at on Thursday and dropped it off. I checked the voltage with my cheap little tester and it said 12.7 volts. At that time the only draw was the fridge. On Friday night I arrived and used the lights ( I have replaced the lights with LED bulbs.) I ran the TV for a half hour Friday night and a half hour Saturday morning. On Saturday night it was 45 degrees outside so I ran the furnace for a while and heated things up to 75 degrees. I shut it off after that and it was warm in the TT all night. I ran the TV for another half hour that night. On Sunday I ran the TV for another half hour in the morning. The fridge and it's parasitic load was running during this entire time. On Sunday night after returning home I check the voltage again and I had 12.6 volts.

I am using the battery that came with my backup sump pump which I took out of service. Seems to work fine.

Are you using one battery now? How has it been holding up for you?
If you want to keep using a single 12V battery I'd at least go with a G27 or G29 size over the standard G24.

If you camp with full hook ups. It should be fine. If you want more battery capacity then a pair of 6V golf cart batteries would serve you better.
