It's a nice build camper. Seems roomy enough for even me. All of the newer space shuttle design campers are just to boring for someone like me. Don't get me wrong if someone were to give me one I'd say thanks and ditch the old Lance. With that said... They are all pretty much ugly. They remind me of the inside of a plane. I'm positive they are all very useful for their intent but at 61 years old I'll take a triple slide mountain cabin interior with a nice recliner and a toilet. Also from what I've seen they're just about the same money. JMHO friends and to each their own...

I agree there's a lot of things about the design I'm uncomfortable with. The blunt nose is just wrong and I'd rather have squared sides and inside storage over the tapered sides they have now. Supposedly it's to reduce sway. I dunno. Maybe in crosswinds, but then why not do the same for the part that's going to be directly into the wind most of the time?

Other than that, the basic layout looks functional and I do think they're on to something with that construction technique. I'm just not sure how well it'll work in colder climates, or hotter ones for that matter. Aluminum has great thermal transfer properties so you've just made a heat sink that has fins both inside and outside the camper, all around the camper?

If we had a "like" button, I would "like" this post.

All this said, I hope the owners are successful. Not wishing them any business ill will. And maybe there’s a market over there on the eastern seaboard for them. Idk if any other TC brands are mf’d anywhere near the east coast. So they got that going for them likely

Needs more aerodynamic front end.

And the $17,500 version gets you a diy shell so you can complete the remedial carpentry and electronics class and have your interior diy match the diy look on the outside….lol.
But to be fair, I’m sure there are people who’d do that. Heck there’s folks on this forum I’d put money on are thinkin it’s a good idea right now!

Maybe it’s a good thing they haven’t spent a bunch making any stock units for sale. They might end up owning multiple ugly campers….

I don't believe that's the reason. None of the Hosts that I've ever seen have marker lights and that includes the smaller ones from years ago that weren't designed for DRWs including single slides and no slide models like the 2008 Lynx 8.0.

Another pipe dream "coming soon" BS operation... If you can't put units on dealer lots, you should not be advertising. People see something and want it NOW. If you can't at least facilitate SOME sales, get some units out there in the hands of the general public, NOBODY is going to place an order for "spring 2024."
