There are some located in the Beginning RVing forum on this site. Try to be as thorough as possible but the main objective is that all appliances and systems (plumbing, electrical, propane) are demonstrated to be fully functional. Sure, you can spend half a day going over your rig from top to bottom but that won't mean you will find every defect. Do a bit of driveway camping before maiden voyage if you wish to vet the systems even more for added peace of mind.
Not always, but more than likely your rig will need some items attended to under warranty anyway. My last PDI was just over an hour and the dealer was well prepared for it as all systems were properly demonstrated and all our questions answered. Meantime our WD/SC hitch was installed and we hitched up as soon as PDI was completed. We experienced very minor issues that I remedied myself and haven't been back to the dealer going on 8 years.
