I installed the Progressive Industries EMS-HW30C. There is a good instructional video at

I mounted the remote display near the power panel on an inside wall so I could fish the data wire to it. At the same time I mounted a DC voltage display I found on Amazon.
Now I can see the incoming voltage, current draw, and any problems at a glance. I wired the DC meter to a DC circuit in the power panel and can see the charger/battery voltage as well.
