Yesterday after our week vacation I was flushing the black tank when I noticed it dripping from the under belly. It was clear so I started at the easiest visible connections. I cut the underbelly back a bit and it was leaking only when the hose is on. It's leaking at the center of the flange where the plastic goes into the tank in the center of the flange. This part swivels and I'm not sure if its suppose to. Its only dripping and not too bad. Is it suppose to swivel, does it tighten from the inside? Can I disconnect the hose and twist it around to tighten?
I cannot find an OEM replacement so my second question is if I use an aftermarket universal one, how would I patch any screw holes that did not align etc. What type of silicone is best for these tanks. The stuff on there now is clear. I'm also worried if I don't replace it black water may seep out. Not sure if there is a anti back flow at the actual flush.
Thanks for the suggestions. Mike
