HSV is remanufacturing them here for RHD.Have to change a fair bit them submit them to be accepted for ADR rules. Generally US HD Pickups lose 5000-6000lbs in tow capacity as part of the practice
The 2500HD has a rating has a rated tow rating( non Geeoseneck or 5th wheel )of
12985lbs in the US 14,800lbs. 3500HD has not been rated as yet. These will be Caravan towers PR personal vehicles, 6.6 Diesel standard, no other options
The first of the HSV-converted 3500s are currently heading down the re-engineering line. However, Paull says they will only be in relatively small numbers so if you want one of the first out of the Melbourne factory, you might want to high-tail it down to your HSV dealer.
