I agree that the Exhaust brake is terrific but I don't know how it makes it essentially a 12-speed??
Perhaps I exaggerate? But for example, in tow haul 3rd gear going down hill - if needed, 2nd will really pull it low - but if in 3rd and activating the exhaust brake, it creates an action that feels like a "low" 3rd gear but not as low a 2nd gear.
Same for the other gears combined with exhaust brake usage.
Hope that makes sense as to what I meant. . .
