why is only the 3.5 ecoboost models affected? when all the trucks share the same brake system?

Has NOTHING to do with Brand of vehicle.

They ALL have recalls.

Speculation here...could heat from the turbos cause damage to the MC? On edit...I don't think that's possible!

And it's only 2013-2014 EcoB models.
My 2011 is unaffected for some reason.
They made some small mods to the intercooler IIRC, but the brakes?
