Buckling Front

I am new to the forum so please bear with me. I have a 2003 Keystone Cougar Travel Trailer that is in great shape. My question is should the front of the RV be soft? I see no signs of water damage inside and all joints seem fine. No delaminization on the side walls. Thanks.

  • If you do not have a cap on the front of your trailer the outside front wall will buckle in places on many trailers. I had it on my last trailer which I did not think anything of it but when I traded it in the dealer put a whole new front on it before they put it on the lot for sale. Have your dealer take a look.
  • What are you talking about? Front cap, floor, walls, roof or something different?
  • Are you talking about the floor in the front, or one of the walls in the front?

If it's the floor and it's not a high traffic area you're probably going to have to peel back the floor covering and look underneath.
  • Curious what is buckling in the front. I have a Keystone and the front gets a little wavy around the edges with the heat of the sun. Goes away after it cools off.
