Camper load guides and platform - my take

My take on the camper platform + Load guides. I actually don't even need any "guides" to help me load. The little angled 2x2's really just give me a decent visual cue when backing up, and help to keep the platform centered in the truck. My camper hasn't shifted when moving, but it's also just 1410 lbs, and not a 5k monster.

I placed the 2x2's between the fenders to be able to have max use of the camper storage pockets in front of the wells.

Also, needed something to put the camper on at RV parks, so I integrated the "x brace" concept into my platform, and cut notches so that the sheets would not move around either. Saves weight, and is functional. Also the platform is much lighter than the older, taller 2x4 version I had.

The voids get filled with foam to help support the x braces when sitting on the frame.
