Camping World Service problems

I purchased a new Jayco TT from our local Camping World 3 months ago and have had nothing but problems with their service department. I just picked it up today after they have had it for over a month, just to fix some warped paneling in the bathroom and a leaking window. Had one excuse after another every week when I would call to see if these 2 minor problems were completed. After getting home and having time to really look, they didn't fix either one, after keeping it all that time. They also tried to send me down the road with the hitch half-way off the ball and tires with half the recommended air pressure. My question is "Do I have to go there in order to use the 2 year Jayco factory warrany?" I would love to go somewhere, anywhere else for future problems and to get the current ones fixed that they didn't handle.
  • After several trips to general RV for repairs that were done by a bunch if hacks. I ended up setting up a appointment at Jayco for them to do the repairs the right way. The whole laundry list of issues were fixed in 4 day. That's including having a new front wall installed.

Can you tell us the bad dealer so we can avoid them?

I think he said it was Camping World.
  • JayCo does warranty work at their factory? If so....twice cool!
  • If you contact JayCo, they can give you a list of authorized warranty servicers in your area.

btw, JayCo has a two-year warrant? Cool!
  • If you look at the Forum index there is a section for CW service complaints. Post your issue there and a CW rep will help you work out the problems.

You could probably use any Jayco dealer for warranty work but if the dealer didn't sell the trailer, you will be at the back of the line like anyone off the street.
