the Jeep should have no problems with a Teardrop. Contrary to what many think. A Jeep makes a good TV in as long as it stays in side of it's weight rating. And while they do have a short WB. they have a really short rear over hang. Meaning that the coupler is really close to the rear axle. Giving the trailer less leverage to move the Jeep. I towed pups as heavy as the tear drop with my CJ5. No sway period. I also towed pups with a 98 Grand Cherokee. Very short. Did a great job with a 2600lb popup. Was more stable than my 96 reg cab F150.
