chevy 3500 6.0 vortec and truck camper
Is anyone using a chevy or gmc SRW or DRW with the 6.0L with any of the single or double slide truck campers that are out there. The Lance and Palomino double slides push 3700 lbs. even over 400...

Thanks. I currently have a 96 with the 5.7 vortec and numerous bolt on performance modifications and it does fine with our Lance 835. Absolutely smooth sailing. But, the 96 is a 2 door model extended cab and as we get older it gets to be a pain and a newer truck with rear doors (whether xcab or crew) would be easier on our backs for making use of the rear seat for carrying those things we like to have in the cab of the truck, to say nothing of being able to take our grand kids with us!
