considering the Lance 1172.
Bottom line are these dually only diesel only once you get to 3700 and over?
The 1172 is going to be VERY far over 4000#.
However, keep in mind that the NNBS 6.0L Chevys have 6 speed transmissions which make for a much more relaxed ride than the older 4 speed trans. And the 6 speed seems to find better gearing for most situations.
Our 2012 Chevy crewcab 6.0L/ 6 speed easily hauls our Lance 855s
