Cleaning Fiberglas body 5th wheel

First, no pressure washer. We just use whatever brand of car wash soap we happen to have. We have a soft bristle long handled brush and it does a dandy job. While you're washing this building, it also gives you the chance to check out your caulking and any other problem areas. DH has found a Thetford RV Wax and Oxidation Remover product at CW that he likes a lot. He can apply it gently with a buffer - not over the decals areas, just the main part - and it wipes off so easily he just uses a towel. A lot of folks swear by the 303 product and when we're in N'ville next week we're going to check it out. Supposed to do wonderful things keeping the decals looking great. If you find you're short on time to wax the whole thing, do the front - helps get the buggies off much easier. You'll likely need some black streak remover, too. Enjoy!!!

First off I keep the roof clean and make sure there is no algae or debris build up in the gutters (leading cause of black streaks). I try to wash roof two or three times yr.
I wash the sides as needed to keep clean and new looking with nothing more than Dawn/water and a soft bristle brush on extension handle.
I hand apply Nu-finish polish once annually on all fiberglass and windows and on the front cap 2 to 3 x year. Really helps repel dirt and black streak stains.
I have been using this process for many years and keep my rigs and decals looking good. I am rather anal about keeping it nice so I guess it never has much of a chance to get dirty.

i go to the tech sessions put on by meguiars , and zain0 , et al .
the single biggest thing that i do with my rv is very frequent washing .
sometimes before a campout if it has been sitting in it's 3 sided shed .
every time without exception after a trip i wash it thoroughly .
my 21t komfort (ordered new 2002 ) still looks sharp .
i stopped waxing it , some years ago .
the cars , truck, and boat are enough to keep me busy .
elbow grease is the best product you can use .
