Watching a bit more, is that a half ton truck?

Look at the box of DEF and the large tail pipe. It was a crew cab short bed diesel. Judging from the size of the trailer I would have to guess close to a 40 footer.

Thanks! Shows my lack of familiarity with Ford body styles. An incorrect assumption on my part not seeing clearance lights and or super duty badging.

Pulled the pucks right out!

One of the tow trucks is from Indio, near Palm Springs. Long shadows indicate either early morning or late evening.

What, it wasn't a 1/2 ton? But he had plenty of brake reserve.
Where are the weight police now?

As I just got in safely off of about a 1,000 mile trip, towing a 31' fifthwheel by myself, that was scary to view....

Why?

If that was the family about 1 hour mark that ran across the highway and got into the tow hauler, glad to see they're all moving about, even little Fido.
