I haven't bought it yet.I told them that I wanted it.
the owner still has it. They are going to try repair it. I guessed it would probably be wound around a drum or such. If I was working on it I'd thought I could mount my hand(boat) winch to the loose(broken) end of the cable.. raise and lock top up in place.. remove broken cable and replace with new cable.. then lower top down then attach cable to the camper winch.. but with out being able to see it.. I'm just thinking out loud.. If they don't have a plan tomorrow I may offer them less and try to replace it myself..
