- burningmanExplorer IIOne difference between Bigfoot and Northern Lite, Bigfoot is generally more willing to do special order custom work if you want them to.

If I was buying either one I would not get the 11,000BTU A/C. I bet Bigfoot has an exclusive vendor deal with Dometic and won't build a camper with the Coleman Mach Cub 9,000, which I think will run off 1 Honda 2000 gen.
....
I ordered my 'foot with the Coleman for that reason. I didn't see it listed as an option anywhere, but I asked and they provided it.
^^That is good to know. Thanks. - stevenalNomad II

Just install a MicroAir, it’s simpler and easier than installing an AC unit on the roof.
Link please?
Go to microair.net
Did that, nothing there but controls (and overpriced at that). I thought you were talking about an alternative to an RV roof air unit. - TxGearheadExplorer IIThe Dometic 11,000BTU is too big for my Bigfoot. A smaller BTU would work better, cycle less, I think.

Link please? - bigfootgreyExplorerOur camper had no A/C when we bought it, but was pre wired for it. We installed a Coleman Polar Cub 9200. We can run the unit with a single Honda eu2000i which can be stored/transported in the driver’s side rear outside compartment.

I would just be sure you got the A/C prep and get it installed yourself.
