Conflicting information in my E350 owners manual
I am looking for opinions on the attached excerpt from my Econoline owners manual.
First paragraph instructs not to tow trailers in excess of 70 mph during first 500 miles of towing.
Third paragraph instructs not to tow a trailer faster than 50 mph during the first 500 miles of towing.
But the strangest part in my opinion is the second paragraph, where it says not to tow a trailer during The first 500 miles after a rear axle fluid change!
I could understand if it said don't tow in the first 500 miles vehicle life, but why not after fresh fluid?
