You could also look into a body wrap for your truck. The wrap can be anything from mild to wild and typically less than a paint job. Maybe you will want a carbon fiber wrapped hood with some lighter colored wrap over the cab? I know the wraps will last 5 years, but don't know how well they wear beyond that.
