Not cheap to operate here. I sure do miss the lower cost of living in Texas. - pawattExplorerWell it looks like Texas is a bargain for registration. No state income taxes is even better.
- thomasmnileExplorerFlorida registration for a 1 ton PU for 1 year is $114.10 and will decrease to what is was 3 years ago in September I believe. Considered by the state DMV as a commercial vehicle, even if not used as such the renewal runs Jan. 1 thru Dec. 31 each year rather than by month of registered owner's birth as is done with cars and motorcycles.

Thanks - Sport45Explorer IIMost 1-tons these days fall in the 10,001 to 18,000 GVWR category and will pay $110 to register in Texas. It's $54 if the GVWR is 6,001 to 10,000 (most 1/2 and 3/4 ton trucks).
Texas Registration Fees - houstonstrokerExplorerHouston, Texas 2002 F-250 $68.50.
