The wife and I were headed out west next year but rethinking because of the winds.

I'm a man of great empathy.....unless they were towing with a half ton. ??
I live out west and must be a real fool to tow in the winds.:h

If warnings were posted then yes.

This looks like what I saw about a month ago just north of Indianapolis. The transporter was unhooked. Coming back the transporter was gone but the trailer was still there.

Don't laugh....when we got our Terry, it had solid pocket doors that closed off the front bedroom. Because of the way that the doors closed to the wall, we noticed that the curbside wall was bowing out. Dealer got a hold of Fleetwood and they said send it back for repairs. I asked what the issue was and they basically told me this...

I hope the fridge is off, doesnโ€™t look too level.

I thought it was worth a look because of the lack of the usual debris field and the way the body did not explode.

That's a heck of a reason to not go exploring... Yes it gets windy, but I'd hazard a guess at equal chances of some sort of incident wherever you drive.

Ahhh I can't argue with that logic.....we'll head out on a calm day or maybe a tail wind.

Strange how the box came completely off the chassis, mostly in one piece. Someone at the mfg forget to put the other 84 screws from the house to the frame?

Almost like it skidded jack knifed, came to a sudden stop like it sits and the box slid off and tipped over. Probably unhooked the tow rig still rubber side down.
Bad day for someone, but it looks like they probably made it out of the deal ok if the trailer is not tipped over.
Trailer tongue/hitch doesn't look mangled up either. I think the only thing that tipped was the house falling off. Warranty work? lol
