Hi All,

I’m pretty new to the travel trailer scene but am wondering if someone can tell me how to get rid of the creaking noises when I back the trailer up. Where exactly is this sound coming from? Thanks for your insights.

Did you grease the ball and the bar sockets in the hitch head?

I'd rather have a noisy but better controlled unit.

I wouldn’t be sure I was backing up without the creaky noises.

Just the sway bars. It's not hurting anything.

It's your friction sway bars making that noise. Some folks disconnect them before backing up.
