We have a 2010 30ft Crossroads Cruiser. Most of the issues have been minor things, except they messed up the wiring on the slide and it was pulling the black tank handle out when new. It actually broke it. I thought I messed up. After the 2nd time and it broke the handle (before we realized what happened) of course I kind of got nasty stuff all over me.
The dealership worked on it, the Crossroads service/warranty department "doubted" they had a problem. After I sent them pictures, there was silence. I had dealt with their so-called service "guru".
That there put it in my mind that we would never buy another unit from them.
We belonged to a Crossroads specific forum and there were numerous issues reported due to a drop in quality, they changed their warranty (lessened it), management was changed (as said above) and the RV dealership where we bought it mentioned the drop in quality.
The window glass fell out of our cabinet doors. Luckily I caught the one that dropped out. I had to reglue all the glass and put in small mirror hooks in case it happened again (preventive measure).
Ours has a full aluminum frame that is bolted together. They changed their design to a welded cage then I do not know that technique is being used currently.
We are getting a stress crack on the front fiberglass panel. Eventually I might have to glue a fiberglass reinforcement panel over it. Time will tell.
I am reasonably satisfied with ours now, I am gradually modding it to what we need. We have looked at other newer models, but have not found anything with the open space we have. Ours is a bunkhouse, we needed it when the kids lived at home. The youngest is gone and we now travel with 6 dogs.
All manufacturers are going to have their issues, it is what they do to take care of them that counts. I do not follow that forum anymore, and am not up to what has been occurring within the last 6 to 8 months.
I would recommend using this as a Google search term "crossroads rv forum" and do some reading.
(lawyer speak, this is only heresay and my opinion/personal experiences with Crossroads, their service department, etc).
