Best camping is from Labor Day to Thanksgiving day around here.....school cuts the Oregon Coast crowds by 75%!
We just stop by at Pensacola, FL (house of Blue Angels) and mid-September the 200 sites are booked for the weekend.
It is white sand and crystal-clear water here in 80-90F weather.
Coming to OP dilemma, we had our camper sitting for 3 years when we've been finishing and selling the house, but now we take real advantage of it.
By the time we get back home, I will record about 8000 miles in 6-7 weeks of camping

It has been over 1 1/2 years since I used my camper! ๐ However!... I'm going twice this month (Mojave Forks Regional Park in the high desert for 3 days, and then up to Lone Pine to Alabama Hills for 3 days. THEN in October a 9 day trip to the south rim of the Grand Canyon, Flagstaff and south to Sedona! Can't wait!! :B
