Only 3 nights in 6 years of RVing have I left it hooked up. Once was dark and raining and manage to be level enough to crash for an overnight stop. Other two were overnight rest areas. I do not think there is any other campsite that allowed it even if we wanted to. Either it needed to be more level that connected allowed, or there was not sufficient space/length to leave connected. Ideally, I like releaving the rear springs of the TV of the load. And it takes just a couple minutes.
