Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat

Mr. Hendricks has a son in law whose job it is to go to Mecum, Jackson-Barrett, etc and buy classic cars that are displayed in showrooms with the intent to make a profit at some point. Best job in the world I'd say.
I had the opportunity to meet Mr. Hendricks some years back when he bought Colonial Chevrolet in Va Beach and had all 4 drivers and cars there. He spent about 10 minutes just chatting with me, a kind gentle man.

You are right, he can and does buy any and everything. He's just so ingrained in my mind as a huge GM buyer it's hard for me to get my mind around him purchasing a mopar. I'm a long ways from Butte, but Butte being Evils stomping grounds it would make sense.

That was serial number 1 that was sold at auction for charity. I can't believe Hendrich bought it, he always buys all the GMs.

One was sold at Barrett-Jackson here in Vegas last weekend. It was a charity deal, went for I believe it was $825,000 and the Englestad Family Endowment matched the %825,000.

Don TWR in Australia already has a similar "Halo" vehicle. It does handle very well, my concern is the Charger goes well in a straight line, but not so great around bends, as previous Chargers have shown

In 2010 a naturally aspirated version set a faster time than the Aston Martin BR 9 around the Top Gear track. Who knows what this new beast will do?

Glad to see the money went to some good charity`s. but anything from BJ cannot be considered real money. most people that bid at BJ are what I call "stupid money". meaning only the people with more money than brains buy from BJ!
