The extra weight is on the front axle with a Diesel. You carry the 5er on the rear axle.
It's called what can the rear axle carry, NOT what is the trucks capacity or what can it tow. That's the real world.

To the OP, sorry don’t have a pic of my door sticker, Never looked at it....
SRW 1 ton = about 4000lbs payload capacity in any of the newer trucks.
