Guess some how I just don't get it. If your pet is a burden just get rid of it. Many of us assume people get pets and treat them as part of the family. If my pet was such a burden I would find another good home for him. Jake, my ACD, is a family member. I wouldn't ask the dog to do anything I wouldn't. One exception, Jake doesn't eat people food. Our MH is a mess. Hair all over, and I stumble over dog toys. But I wouldn't have it any other way. If you have to ask how to treat your pet you shouldn't have one. Nuff said.
you live in the nasty, and you want to put down someone who asks a honest question?
I like my dog. But I ain't wearing his hair, and I am not cooking with his hair in the pot.
If I didn't want to put up with shedding pets and dirt they track in I would get rid of my dog. My dog is part of our fsmily. I'm not perfect neither is my dog. I dislike people that apoarently have pets for status or whatever. They chain up, cage, leave pets outside 24/7/365. Why do they even want a pet? My neighbor leaves their dog outside 24/7/365 in WY @ 20 and 30 below zero. I would be ashamed to treat a pet like that. Plus keep in mind I don't even qualify for a pound dog on our ranch. only cow barb wire. No jails or caged areas for my pet outside. Mainly because my dog lives inside our warm abode when it is 20 below zero. JMHO. Mistreat your pet how you want. You will get no apology from me for treating Jake like a family member. My wife or kid wouldn't ride in a TT on the road and neither would my dog Jake.
