Dometic Roof Top AC Cycling - No 2

I am seeing somethimg similar but slightly different to what was posted in the first question on this topic on a 5 year old Dometic rooftop AC. In my situation it sounds like it is cycling the compressor even if the unit is switched off. It can be quite load at times. It just started this weekend. The only way I have found to get it to stop is by throwing the breaker. But as soon as you turn it on it starts again. My fear is this sounds lik an expensive trip back to the dealer. Any thoughts?
  • My brother has a Coleman Mack and it sucks. Won't cool down the RV on a 90 degree day.

I have heard good things about Duo Therm Penguin but, I have no experience with it.

I have also heard good things about Atwood Air Command AC's but, I have never seen one in action.
  • I think I figured out it is going to be an expensive trip to the dealer. AC started smoking. At least it is at the end of the summer. Shouldn't be any more trips that open windows won't handle this season. Got all winter to get her fixed before next summer.

Any advice on what to look for in a replacement?
