I here that. I spent most the day putting in shelf paper. Filling up spaces fast. Our disabled son uses 5 pillows at night. And much more items. Guess no hair dryer for me. Lol. Running out of places for food. Still glad we down sized

I just downsized from my 5th wheel to a travel star HTT. Been out a few times and love it. For me the bunk ends with open screens can't be beat at night in the summer. Storage is at a premium for sure and the wife is grumpy about that but so far we both still like this better.

Congratulations on your new camper! I hope you love your HTT as much as we do ours.

We actually live in our Kodiak 160SVT for a month each winter - we escape to Florida's beautiful state parks. It's just the right size for us.

Happy camping!

We will be picking up our x23b this week. This is our second 23b. Lol this is our 12th RV since 1980s. We said good bye today to our 36ft Motor home. It was handicap equip for our son. But as we grow older it became to much. It got to be no fun. So we continue to camp and a few marshmallows won't hurt.

From California to Tennessee thanks for your reply. May your family have fun safe camping

Great news about having the door enlarged for your son. We also have a son who needs a wheelchair, however, only for longer trips. He is able to get up and down the steps, but it's a killer. Can't recall the shower set up in your new HTT, but we had to use the CG shower before moving to our TT. Now we have the garden shower that allows space for a small shower chair.

I think you'll really enjoy your HTT. We had ours from '06 - '13 and still consider ourselves hybriders even though we moved to a 26' TT. This getting older is for the birds and between DHs high-tech hip and other assorted issues, the move was a good one for us.

You'll be able to get into CGs and sites you'd never have made with a larger MH. Enjoy and give your DS a hug from us....he'll find a whole new world out there.

Thanks guys for your kind words . We have owned an rv since 1980s . Can't wait to pick and choose what we will be putting in our x23b. We also have a 40 year old son in a wheel chair, so a wider door being installed . Trip planed in October . I see good and bad things posted . Not worrying till it happens . For now I will enjoy

Sounds good. I downsized also. It amazed me to see that everything I needed still fit into a popup, after having travel trailers for nearly a decade.

So many RVs, so little time to try them all. Have fun with your new toy!

There's nothing wrong with downsizing. I see folks with these huge rigs and admire them but realize I don't want to wash and wax them!
