Drill motor for stabilizers

Looking for recommendations on which cordless drill I should buy for raising and lowering my stabilizers. Appreciate any advice. Thanks.

Something tells me that a state with enough open space for that kind of camping wouldn't have a legal problem with a holstered sidearm out in the boonies. Of course, the description "flashing a gun at people passing by" would be just plain lying. No better than the "Karens in Florida" that we keep reading about.

I have a hand held impact cordless drill. Ryobi.

Has 3 settings. Clutch for torque limit on a screw, locked for wood/metal drilling, and impact for drilling in concrete.
Never seemed that load actually.

Now if you are talking a half-in drive 300+ ft-lb impact only gun to remove wheel lugs those are a bit louder. I have a Craftsman model. I would not bring this heavy tool camping. Yes it is a bit louder but would probably lift the RV off the ground before the noise was noticed.

I still prefer the hand crank for the stabilizers and the drill stays at home.

I think you have a Ryobi hammer drill/driver, not an impact cordless drill. I have the same. The noise is the chuck actually short stroking in and out, or hammering a drill bit.

I am saving up for the V8 conversion kit. Gona put a blower on it and run nitro methane with open exhaust. I figure the faster I get those jacks to move, the less chance of anoying someone.:B

This attitude is why I do not use campgrounds. Cram a bunch of people together with no elbow room, and someone will have an issue about something with another.
I hate camping around people.... I have to put up with their BS in the city... I will NOT do it when camping. If I can see another camper, they are too close.

Considering they didn’t have battery impacts when you started and only in the last 20 years or so has the average person had them. I don’t think your “1” on your 1-10 scale is accurate. They are far more annoying than that. Now put one in the hand of everyone around you and it becomes ridiculous. Just use a battery drill. Far quieter and everyone is happy!
