Driver Seat Cushion

Anyone have any recommendations for a good drivers seat cushion?

I've got the Work truck seats in my GMC and they are pretty hard and unforgiving after several hours of driving.

Interested in anyone's personal experience in a good gel or memory foam seat cushion.
  • X2 on Airhawk. Could never get comfortable on a motorcycle seat. Used an Airhawk and since you're sitting on air, not too much and adjustable could ride for hours. They are pricy but well worth it.
  • my wife and i are both having problems with the seats in our gmc. don't notice on short trips but longer and we both end up with low back issues. tried the aylio in hondavalk's link but it's no good for us. don't see how a seat cushion could be worth $200 (that airhawk) but if it provides relief, i suppose.
  • If your seat cushion is wore out, then you should visit www.theseatshop.com for a replacement. I just bought a new cushion and cover for my 2003 GMC truck because 209,000 miles with mostly my hind-end riding on it was enough. The replacement made a world of difference in ride quality of the seat. It's like new again.

  • I have two of these, and really like them. My drivers seat is a bit time and wear worn, this makes it much better, and corrects the loss of padding in the seat.

    Forever Comfy cushion.
  • my little car has a heated seats and the heater is right at my tail bone, so I went to wally world and got a seat cushion and it is foam with a nice cover on it. I think I got it in the automotive section.
