Before my adult kids had kids of their own, they used to like late, LATE-night poker parties at our house. While it's nice that the kids all enjoy each others' company - as the light sleeper in my family, I was kept awake. Even the "plink" of chips being tossed on the table woke me up, so I'd retreat to the RV for wonderful night's peace-and-quiet :-)
