duramax exhaust brake

I have the efi live version on my 09 and am pretty happy with it. Only tow around 8000 lbs though but mountain passes have never been a problem

2011, the exhaust brake and new frame were why I upgraded from my 2005 to the '11.

not really via a tune. a tune can improve the factory grade brake by having the turbo vanes move more to give more backpressure. The Duramax exhaust brake uses the turbo vanes AND a variable gate on the exhaust.

Substantially more braking than just the turbo vane adjust.
