I've been talking with a friend that's an auto tech and he believes it's the brake switch. I'm ordering the OEM part online and it'll be here Monday. I believe this will fix the issue.
He had me test the adjustable pedals. They moved as they should, but then he said to reach behind the pedal and pull forward to see if that released the brakes and it did. As soon as I pulled forward on the pedal, the brake controller went from showing numbers on the screen as if it was applying brake power to saying 'no trailer connected'. This leads him to believe it's the brake switch. I'm sold for the $10 it'll cost me to fix it. I'll let you all know if that fixes the issue.
