Equal-i-zer excellent customer service

I have a 3 year old equal-i-zer and one of the bar pins broke. It happens.

One phone call, a human answered the phone, we chatted for a bit and then he sent me replacements. Not just the broken one, but a pair of the new upgraded version. Now I have a spare.

They stand by the product, and the employees use them too, and give good advice.
  • That's awesome. There is a used equalizer for sale for $350 locally. Thinking about buying it. Did you use the typical style wdh prior to this? Is there a big difference?
  • Actually no, It is the first one I have ever had. It is what the dealer put on.

Honestly, with this, and the electronic sway control, I can pull a 3 ton trailer with a Ford Explorer and have no clue what sway is. I see guys tooling down the road with all sorts of trailers swaying and this thing just doesn't do it. I can drive with a single finger on the wheel if I wanted to where I see the other guys white knuckling it.

It does clunk and pop some times as it uses friction for sway control, but it sure works. It does double duty as a sway control and WDH.
  • I to have had excellent service from Equal-I-Zer. I required new nuts and bolts, gave them a call to inquire on price. They sent a set to me at no charge. This is after owning it for 5 years.
  • chr$ : buy a set of bracket jackets, for about $20. will stop all crunching sounds and does not affect sway control , trust me ,have tried with and without.
  • Great to hear! I have a 1 year old Equalizer E2 WD hitch and it has performed beautifully in WD and stopping sway on my 6000 lb 32 ft Bullet TT. Nice to know if I have a problem they will help me out without regards to a warranty period! About the only company in the RV biz that will use the "LL Bean always satisfied policy "
