Erratic water flow

My kitchen and bathroom faucets are both flowing very erratic. Almost in a spray type pattern. I think I know what caused the condition. Early this year I did a quick winterization. Using compressed air through the city connection. After I de- winterized I noticed this abnormal water flow. Could it be debris just caught in the faucet or line? I have taken out the diffuser screens, no change there. Any ideas?

My trailer has one of these in-line clear water canister filters just a few inches away from the city water connection.

Might check to see if you have one. You can unscrew the canister with the city water disconnected and check the filter...

I use the air compressor method all the time here but the compressor is a tankless 12VDC model. It takes a longer time to build up pressure which is what I like to see when connected to the city water port.

They warn you against hitting the water lines with alot of air pressure...

  • If you are using a pressure regulator there may be something inside of it that is causing a problem.
  • Do you hear your water pump kicking on and off? If so, perhaps the compressor caused some damage to the valves in the pump.

  • Pump seems to run consistent. I'm thinking there is some abstraction right at the faucet. Maybe I should try and snake a wire up in the faucet and see if that helps.
