Germany and several other countries are temporarily using coal to conserve natural gas, something that was usually coming from Russia and is now in very short supply. This is very easily confirmed.
It has nothing to do with more EVs on the road. lol
Compounding their stupidity Germany is still planning to shut down all three remaining nuclear power plants this year unless something has changed very recently.
