My Ever chill 12v refig is not very chilly,I have a new Embrace EL210 travel trailer 6 mo.old, ,the freezer will make ice in about 2.5 hrs.Im currently hooked up to 50 Amp power yet at about 4 hrs.the interior light is flashing.Anyone have a cure?

I have a 2022 Wolf Pup 16fq with an Everchill 12v refreigerator.  The trailer came from the factory with a single lead acid deep cycle battery.  The trailer also came equipped with a roof-mounted 50 watt solar panel.  This solar panel will keep the battery charged when the trailer is in storage, but WILL NOT keep the battery charged while boondocking because the refrigerator draws too much power.  Since we are seldom hooked up to shore power, I replaced the lead acid battery with two 100 aH lithium iron phosphate batteries wired in parallel. I also carry three portable 100 watt solar panels wired into a Renogy controller compatible with lithium batteries. Since the solar panels are portable, I can move them around for maximum solar exposure.  With this setup, I no longer have any issues with lack of battery power.

If and when mine dies it'll be replaced with a household type fridge and a inverter. Did that in my former RV never had an issue with it.

Just helped my neighbor slide in a new 12V Dometic fridge to replace his failed Dometic absorption fridge. It was a little pricy in my opinion but was designed to slide right in and it did.

In terms of longevity and support, not that I've seen and I've done a ton of research on them. I really want a 12V fridge but none of the manufacturers have a good record. Their units just aren't as reliable as absorbtion fridges and none of them seem to support the customer. Oftentimes they die soon after warranty expires and are not repairable. The manufacturer just tells them to buy another unit. Even when they're still in warranty people often have to fight to get help.
Also, keep in mind that not all 12V fridges are the same. Some use Danfoss or other variable speed compressors and some do not. Those that don't use a lot more energy.
If I absolutely had to buy one right now, it would probably be the Furion because we have a (semi) local dealer that will stand behind them. But the Furion is no prize either. (Furion is variable speed BTW.)

I had a brain fart,the 4 mo.old 85amp hr. battery isn't holding a charge so it was low,I keep forgetting that it is a 12v always. Thanks for the help.

It's a 12v DC fridge. 50amp @120/240v AC is irrelevant.

What is the battery voltage? If the converter got shut off (or failed) and then you ran the battery down, it won't be happy.

You do have the battery disconnect switch in the "on" position, correct?

If the battery is good and the converter is charging, go check the fuse on the panel and the voltage across the fuse. If that doesn't show anything, I've heard rumor there is an inline fuse behind the fridge but ours hasn't had any issues, so never dug into it.

The flashing light normally indicates that that the fridge does not have the power it needs to run. Someone needs to measure the incoming voltage to the fridge.
