No matter how many claims mfgs like to talk about, the sad truth is real world load carrying capacity once you add your personal stuff, and more than one 150 pound occupant capacity drops like a rock. That holds true for any brand and any size truck. Get yourself a 2500 gas motor long bed truck, pick your light camper and go happy.
