Check the manual to figure out exactly what the EVIC light is. I know they are getting pretty creative with some of those icons and I can't keep track of what they mean. Probably a dozen times over the years my wife has tried to explain what some symbol on the dash of her car(s) looks like and once I get the manual it's nothing like I was envisioning. Most of the time it's a low tire warning which is kind of like what you are describing.
Something I picked up for my son's car that I've found myself using on my Ram is a code reader from Autozone for about $60. It's super valuable to read and clear codes. You can at least get a number to look up on the net or run by folks here.
