Generally no, but one could argue "it depends" ... if you're a DIY type of person, have a place and the appropriate tools to work on your rig then definitely not but if you're the type who needs to be shown where the door is on your new camper then it could be reasonably argued you're just the sort of person who needs extended warranty coverage. ;)
