EZ Open Handle

You can't really pull yourself up with it....it lays flat against the door, and attaches to the paddle on the door latch that you pull to open the door. Pulling it away from the door unlatches the door, so if you tried to pull yourself up with it, the door will open sending you in the opposite direction....LOL....

In a typical TT or 5er, unlatching the door requires you to go up a step or two to reach the latch, then back down the steps to allow the door to swing open. This EZ Open handle allows you to open the door while still standing on the ground, and just go up the steps one time.

That's an interesting idea. Like Lynnmor I assumed it was just a pull handle until your clarification.

I wonder when they're going to come out with the motion controlled automatic door. Now that would be cool. Well at least until a bear walked by smelling dinner and the door obligingly opens wide. :E :B

We just spent a week with our 4 yr old GS and he really had a hard time opening the door. Once he went flying off the steps backwards. This product really looks like it will do the job.

I know this is an old post, but I recently installed this product and can say that it is one of the best mods I've installed. Very well built Product as well.
