F150 3.5 Ecoboost-length and weight of camper you're towing

If you've got an F150 3.5 ecoboost how big of a travel trailer and how much weight are you towing? Post a pic if you have it

My 2011 has had the condensation issue (fixed with the updated CAC and programming) and I'd rather have it pull timing with negligible performance loss vs falling flat on its face when you need it.

I only run premium when I am towing our fth wheel and your milage is about the same as mine

Only towing a #5000 TT with my 13 Eco and love it.. Not even close to it's limits and that's what makes it such a nice tow.

Max out any size rig, and it's gonna be a tougher tow than not maxing it out.. 😉

Sounds like you don't care for the new F150's and that's fine. I've not driven the new ones so no idea what the lighter weight feels like, but since they also lowered all the GVWR's on the 15+ trucks, It's all the same anyway, right?

My 13 has a #7700 GVWR and #1920 payload per the sticker. #4050 rear axle rating, etc... It's a Max Tow, but I think the 15+ Max Tows are lower weights than this, but they weigh less too, but is that a good thing in the end?

Dunno, because I've not driven one, much less towed with one.

Anyway, tow what you want with what you want and if it's good, it's good for you..

I had a 2013 ecoboost with a 5 Star tune and Wagner intercooler that was a beast! I would tow everything including 15000 lbs of hay.
I got a 2016 ecoboost and after one trip to Colorado towing only 7k lbs am buying a new Super Duty. Going through NM with temperature 100+ the pcm was pulling 3 degrees of timing because IAT2 was so high! This robbed me of a lot of power. This is Ford's fault for putting in such a small intercooler. They did help to solve the condensation problem which it does help with because now the air is hotter. The downfall is for those that tow, the hot air just saps you of power!
I have towed my Reflection 29rs twice. It weighs about 10k lbs. I wasn't really impressed as it downshifts way more than my 13 did. This is partially because I have a 3.55 instead of 3.73 as in my previous truck but also due to the intercooler.

we love our Eco boost towing our 5th wheel does an excellent job. We Have been doing this for 3 years know truck is a 2013 we bought in the spring of 2013. We have been through the Ozarks numerous times and handles it with no issue. The fth wheel is a 2004 hornet hitch weight at 1350 if I remember correctly.

Let me also say I wouldn't go any heavier than what we are currently and also it is just the wife and I so cargo weight is minimal some clothes and food maybe 10 gallons of water.

as you can see by the pic in our signature it sits level with no aftermarket add-ons.

We are now pulling a Laredo 331BH with a 2014 EB max tow crewcab short bed. 38' long from hitch to bumper. Combined truck and trailer running around 15,300 lbs (Cat Scale). The truck pulls good, not great. We have taken it from Ohio to Wisconsin and back. Plenty of HP, a slight issue with sway/wiggle. Much better with the correct bars on the hitch, have narrowed some problems down to the P tires. Looking to upgrade to better tires in the spring since this year is winding down. We only have a few short trips planned.
We are using a Blue Ox sway Pro with 1500 lbs bars.

Truck and TT in sig. Trailer scales out about 7300 - 7500 lbs. depending on packing. Equilizer 12K. Towed it through flat and mountains, winds and rain, absolutely no problems and tows wonderfully. As I mentioned in other posts, the only limit I'm ever close to is the hitch weight. I use a Sherline scale to keep things in line but pretty good keeping it under 1100 lbs. I see others posting towing MPG at 11.5 or better. I'm always between 9.5 and 10.5.
