And a rear GAWR of 4800#, just like the 2011-2015 HD Payloads.
Guess those 6 lug HD wheels and LT-C tires can handle it.
It also has the Ford's new trailer backup knobby "PRO TRAILER BACKUP ASSIST".
But not much of a discount yet. Maybe later in the summer just before the 2017s appear. Hanna Motors can get pretty aggressive in its pricing.
Do the new HD F150's not still use a 10.5" rear with 7 lug wheels?
There are both 18" alloy HD wheels and 17" steel HD wheels. I think both are just 6 lug in 2015-16.
The ring gear is referred to as "9.75HD" in the 2015 Source Book with 3.73 axle ratio. The HD may just imply a greater lubricant capacity of 5.5-5.65 pts. As apparently there is also a non-HD 9.75" rear end with only 4-4.15 pint capacity used somewhere in the line-up.
Think the 2011-2015 HD Payload trucks also had a 9.75" ring gear. But the wheels were 7 lug.
Thanks for that info! I'll stop counting lugs when I see an F150 in hopes of spotting a HD payload F150.
