The funny thing is,we have forum members here that are way more overloaded than this picture especially if that TC is empty..
I am not sure how many here have used a 1/2 ton truck with a truck camper..I know Burningman has but the fact is,a 1/2 ton rated truck can haul a truck camper just fine and without issue..I have done it three times with 8 and 8.5 truck campers on 1/2 ton trucks and they road just fine without any issues..
This example above is about how long the TC is,not the weight of it because that pickup can easily haul the weight of that TC if it was all within the bed just as the many 3/4 tons here hauling over 1000# above there GVWR...
