Again, the truck in this photo with the bent frame is a Chevy Colorado, not a Ford Ranger.

Fwiw, all I see is tree branches in the background of the blowup.
And this is not an unheard of or impossible occurrence. That’s where pickup truck frames bend when someone tries hard enough to bend them with a cantilevered load off the back.

Here is an enlarged portion of the original photo, the section between the top of the truck cab and the bottom of the camper. Look at the several areas that must have been made by a circular-brush tool to fill in the background. This suggests that area needed to be filled in after the camper-shell was rotated.

There are always people who swear it is true. I’m not sure it matters to most of us. We aren’t ever going to stress our trucks to that extent.

Nope. That last one is a Chevy Colorado. Not sure what that "Ranger" is all about.

I was reading about the Colorado breaking like that on the Expedition Forums - guy was wheeling in Nevada when that happened.

Dang,The newer Fords must have an issue huh..All three on this page are Fords with broken beds and they weren't aluminum...lol
